Sagrado Corazón Robotics Club

     The VEX Robotics Competition is a worldwide robotics program designed for Elementary School and Middle School students.  The purpose of the program is to encourage students to learn more about Science, Technology, Engineering and Math fields (known as STEM) while they are having fun.  Every year, a new challenge is revealed to motivate students to produce new and innovating ideas.  These challenges are presented in form of a game, making it more fun and attractive fort he students.  In addition to the robotics competition, stuedents do a research project related to different STEM areas.  Like the robotics game, the topic of the project changes yearly, so students have a chance to learn from each new challenge they may face.
